Plate Tectonic

Plate tectonics is to research the cause, movement, evolution, material composition, structure combination etc. of earth's lithosphere. I agree with the theory of plate tectonics, because plate tectonics is profound explain the distribution of earthquakes and volcanoes, phenomena of geothermal and geomagnetic, function of magma and orogeny, clarifies the huge problem of mid-ocean ridge, rift valley, and continental drift.
The one evidence that support plate tectonics is divergent boundary, they are mid-ocean ridge, rift valley etc. The mid-ocean ridge is when two oceanic crusts separating, and the mantle is under the oceanic and between two oceanic crusts. The rift valley is when two continental crust separating and create a valley.
Another evidence that support plate tectonics is continental drift. Continental drift is movement of shells and distribution of lands and ocean, when the plate are separate, they will move slowly. The evidence of pangaea are puzzle, fassils, rock type and mountains.
Faults are large fractures in the earth's crust, it also support the plate tectonics, when the fault moving apart and causes earthquake. Type of fault: normal fault, reverse fault, and strike-slip fault.
In my opinion, I agree with the theory of plate tectonics, because base evidence was show that is ture.

REFLECTION

What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
                - The part that I enjoy most about this project is when we doing the convection currents lab, because the experiment was to show what is convection  currents, it's interest.
What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
                - The last layer was most challenging for me during this project because it's most difficult and we must turning on time.
What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
                - The new skills that I learned from doing this project was my drawing is look like better.
Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
                - The paragraph of my topic, because I'm not done well.
What would you change about this project?

lunar revolution - 月球公转 - When the moon revolves around the earth.
lunar revolution length - 月球公转的长度 - It takes 29.5 days for the moon to revolve around the earth.
phase of the moon - 月相 - The shape as it moves around the earth.

total solar eclipse - 日全食 - When the moon covers the whole sun.

partial solar eclipse - 日偏食 - When the moon covers a part of sun.

umbra - 本影 - When the sun lights to the dark part of shadow on the earth.
penumbra - 半影 - When the sun lights to the light part of shadow on the earth.

SUMMARY
A solar eclipse is when the moon revolves in between the sun and the earth, it happens during the new moon phase, and it has two type of solar eclipse. The one of solar eclipse is total solar eclipse that is when the moon covers the whole sun, and the dark part of shadow on the earth is called Umbra. Other one is partial solar eclipse, it is when the moon covers part of the sun, the light part of the earth is called penumbra. And the Lunar Revolution, the lunar is means moon that is when the moon revolves around the earth, it takes 29.5 days for the moon revolves around the earth. When the moon revolves around the earth, the moon phases will be change. The moon phase are New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Third Quarter, and Waning Crescent. Solar and Lunar are cause of day and night on earth, solar eclipse and lunar revolution will continue, never stop.

REFLECTION
1. What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
I enjoyed most about making movie, because it's very interesting, when Ali talk about the topic, Shayda and I were move all of picture.

2. What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
Essay, because I wrote too short and I don't know many vocabulary to wrote essay.

3. What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
Drawing. Because I have done very well by drawing the sun, I think so..

4. Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
If I have a chance to change something that I did't done well, I would make my essay longer than before, and write more about Lunar Eclipse.
